About this role
Sciative is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior QA Engineer to help ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
The role involves understanding software requirements, creating test plans and test cases, performing manual and automated testing, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with developers and project managers.
The candidate will also participate in regression, performance and usability testing and maintain testing documentation.

Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of manual testing concepts and methodologies.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium or JMeter.
- Understanding of bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Basic programming knowledge in Java, Python or C#.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum.
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
