QA Engineer

AI Squared is looking for a skilled and proactive QA Engineer / SDET to take ownership of software quality across its AI ecosystem. The role focuses strongly on test automation and integration testing. The QA Engineer will design and maintain automated test suites, understand complex AI product workflows, identify quality risks early, and continuously improve testing processes. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical curiosity, and the ability to work independently with distributed teams.

- Design, develop and maintain automated test suites. - Aim to automate a large percentage of integration tests while maintaining comprehensive coverage. - Understand AI product workflows, edge cases and potential failure modes. - Identify quality risks before they reach production. - Build reusable test frameworks and components. - Develop effective test strategies for complex user workflows. - Create clear documentation, test cases, test plans and bug reports. - Provide video demonstrations of issues and test scenarios when appropriate. - Own software development test suites and testing frameworks. - Work closely with development and cross-functional teams. - Provide clear quality insights and recommendations. - Work independently in a distributed environment. Requirements: - 2+ years of QA/SDET experience with strong test automation and integration testing. - Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python and/or Ruby. - Experience with Playwright, Selenium, Jest or similar frameworks. - Experience with frontend and API testing. - Ability to design comprehensive testing strategies. - Strong documentation and communication skills. - Ability to work with minimal supervision. - Interest in AI/ML and modern testing practices.
