Software Test Engineer (Automation + AI)

Allata is looking for a Software Test Engineer (Automation + AI) with strong automation and manual testing fundamentals. The role involves testing Web, SaaS, API, and Mobile applications while building scalable automation frameworks and improving quality engineering practices. The engineer will work closely with developers, product owners, QA, and DevOps teams using modern automation tools, API testing, SQL, CI/CD, and AI-powered testing practices.

• Design, develop, and execute automated tests. • Maintain and improve automation frameworks. • Develop test cases for software products and websites. • Analyze requirements, user stories, and API contracts. • Build and maintain automated tests using Selenium, Playwright, and Cypress. • Test APIs including authentication, payloads, error handling, and contract validation. • Write SQL queries for data validation. • Execute tests across browsers, platforms, and environments. • Integrate test suites with CI/CD pipelines. • Track and analyze defects using JIRA. • Participate in Shift-Left testing and code reviews. • Use AI tools for test generation and failure analysis. • Maintain test documentation, dashboards, and quality metrics.
