Test Automation Engineer

Appian is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and infrastructure. The role focuses on system-level regression and smoke testing, automated testing, performance testing, mobile testing, and improving test reliability. The engineer will work with development teams to identify risks, troubleshoot defects, and maintain high-quality software delivery.

• Develop and maintain test frameworks and automation infrastructure. • Develop automated regression and smoke tests. • Create performance test plans. • Develop testing applications using Java or Python. • Perform web and mobile automation testing. • Use tools such as Selenium, Appium, Postman and BrowserStack. • Identify edge cases and technical risks. • Troubleshoot and isolate defects. • Collaborate with engineering teams and participate in code reviews. • Support CI, Git and Jira based development workflows.
